Old Age

Old Age Makeup

Today in class we learned about old age makeup and got to apply it to our faces.
First, we used an app on our iPads that generated wrinkles and age marks on our faces.  Then we took our headshots and drew the wrinkles on them.  I had to look at my own face as well to see where exactly they fell.  I think I can make them more exact the next time I do it though, especially around my forehead.

I used my highlight to draw a line on top of the wrinkle and then used my shadow to create a line on the bottom.

Then I blended the highlight upwards and the shadow downwards.  I also added more shadow around my eyes and my eyelid.  Next time I do this I want to make better lines for my forehead so they look more like the jowl lines around my mouth.  I want it to look less dirty and more realistic.

After that, I added white coloring to my eyebrows with the little eyebrow comb in our Ben Nye Kit.

Lastly, I added blush to my cheeks and a little on the tip of my nose.

This is the finished product! woohoo!
